Barkan began as a subsidiary of the Italian alcoholic beverage giant ‘Stock‘. In 

 1989  the company moved to a new winery in Barkan, near the town of Ariel in

 Samaria. The wines produced are constantly improving and producing over 6 million bottles annually. One to watch.
